Congrats to the Shawanoe Elementary School Running Club! For their Grand Finale, members from grades 3 through 6 ran a mile at the SM Northwest HS track. (Could you run a mile when you were in 3rd grade?) KC Express supported this wonderful program with mentors for the 8 weeks of training, financial help to buy running shoes, medals for finishers, and cowbells for the families to cheer them on. The kids had a blast and so did we!
