Tracey has generously given her service to our club as KCE President for the past two loooooong years. She brought her high energy level and her open-minded, collaborative leadership style to help our club in many ways. She honored club traditions while inviting new ideas, which made us stronger. She created a culture of optimistic problem-solving within the club. She remembered, always, that it’s good to have fun together even while working together.
Here are a few of her specific accomplishments:
1) She initiated the club membership survey to identify strengths and weaknesses, and made changes to address them.
2) She improved our training programs, a very important part of our club’s mission. For the SMH-MD5K Training, she organized a “train the trainer” class to help us communicate better with new runners/walkers. And for our BRAG training, she engaged an experienced coach, Helen Wilms, to lead and administer the program.
3) She made membership recruitment a priority, and was markedly successful. About 65 women attended our Holiday Party in December!
Tracey, we thank for your outstanding service to KC Express!
