At our Aug. meeting we went on a photo tour of Kansas Outdoor Treasures with Julie Cirlincuina, author of the guidebook by that name. She showed us beautiful, diverse hiking trails near and far in Kansas. (It’s definitely not flat!) Julie organizes Women’s Outdoor Recreation, which offers group outings for hiking, biking, kayaking and more. Her website is full of information, including how to sign up for group trips and where to purchase the book.
